IFF Reaches Target #1 and End of Quarter Update

  • Our bucket 2 long position in IFF yesterday rallied 5.16% and as a result reached and surpassed our profit target #1 at $85. We will keep this one to see if it may have enough momentum to rally toward our target #2 at $87

  • Q1 (which ends today) has seen one of the largest dispersions between equity performance (+10% for the SPX) and bonds (flat(ish) for the aggregate bond index) in a long time.

Possibly next week this will lead institutional investors to have to rebalance portfolios to bring them back in line.  Such rebalancing would mean those investors would have to sell some stocks and buy some bonds.
